My Emergency service Career began with the London Fire Brigade as a firefighter, I quickly progressed to the rank of senior officer. With my skills and training I formed a private ambulance service knowing we can make a difference. We quickly began to gain a reputation of a caring and compassionate service second to none. This ethic has been with us from day 1 and will remain a part of our foundation, we treat every Patient with the same level of compassionate care we or anyone else would show their own family. We remain focused on learning every day.

After leaving college at 16, I decided to pursue a career in a healthcare working both on the road and in the office to broaden my skills for future employment. This led me to work at Kent Central as an apprentice. Due to my kind, caring and hardworking nature, at 18 years old I was offered the job as an Ambulance Care Assistant. Then, when I turned 21, I was offered the opportunity to come back into the office as a Finance Manager.
I started at Kent Central back in November 2020 as an Ambulance controller after having 8 years working in customer service and retail management.

Jo has now joined Kent Central as a controller; she is looking forward to the new challenge and what the future holds for her at Kent Central.

"We had to get my mother in law from Pembury hospital to St Thomas's London today for an urgent appt. The hospital phoned Kent central after being let down by whoever was supposed to take us and Brian and Dan turned up. They couldn't of been more kind and caring than they were! Nothing was to much trouble and they went out of their way to try and find out information that we weren't sure of. I'd highly recommended them. Thanks again"
